Picasso Etchings

These pages are specifically designed for Alan's 'The Death of Picasso' series. Their are a total of fourteen etchings Alan had produced at the time Picasso had died on April 8, 1973. All fourteen of these are viewable on this site. They are truly some of the most beautiful etchings Alan had ever produced.

At the time of Picasso's death, Alan had locked himself in his studio for two weeks. During this time he made numerous drawings. He then picked fourteen of these to use for this series. Once the decisions were made he transfered them on to aluminum plates. Once perfected he then transfered to copper. This whole process took a total of two years to complete.
